A Note on This Blog

Dear Readers and Followers,

I am taking an indefinite break from writing posts on this blog.  In the long term, I plan to return to the writing I've begun on this blog, which focuses around the themes described here and here - my attempts to bottle the wind that is the beauty of Christianity.  It will be a long road, and for me, engaging with the realm of science (which also shine forth the beauty and elegance of God in unique ways!) is a key part of that journey.

Grace and peace,

Elliot

  1. Hopefully, the comments on this blog will not end up hateful or scornful of anyone's opinions, no matter how radical they may be. There are nice ways and cruel ways of differing on opinions so I hope that you can keep everyone respectful of one another, even when they violently disagree on issues.

I have experienced much derision as a promoter of Barry & Helen Setterfield's cosmological theory of cDK combined with electromagnetic plasma physics as the means by which God may have stretched out the heavens and created everything in only 4 days (96 hours)!

I would love to have a reasonable discussion about these theories (and others as well) and this may be just the place where that could be done. I hope so

  2. Hi Jim,
I certainly hope all comments will be kind and respectful. I'm not familiar with these ideas, although am skeptical of something so divergent from mainstream cosmology. But I do think that God was and is influencing the cosmos - how exactly, I'm not sure...I think it is difficult to say much that isn't very speculative.
    Cheers,
    Elliot
